There are 3 Microsoft security updates labelled as critical, all allow remote code execution, one of these affects all currently supported versions of Windows except Windows 7 which is apparently immune, the second only affects Microsoft Project (part of Microsoft Office) and the third affects all versions of Internet Explorer.
In addition, there are 3 Microsoft updates labelled as important (less urgent than critical), the first is a Denial of Service (DOS) exploit which affects only Windows XP, 2000 and Server 2003. The second is a remote code execution fix that only applies to servers, and the third is a remote code fix that affects Windows 2000 and XP and Microsoft Office 2003 and Work 8.5.
All in all, a light month for Microsoft patches.
